1.10.0

Released: 2016-08-30

New Features

LW2 Devices

  • [LDC-460] - Input ports and Output ports are now cleary marked in the crosspoint area of MX, MX-FR and UMX series matrices.
  • [LDC-1520] - We are introducing a Log Translator function for the MX-FR (CPU2) matrices. This tool transforms the seemingly gibberish debugging information of log files into a more understandable format. Each line describes what the logged event means (whether it's an issue or just information about normal operation), which port or board is affected, what usually causes the problem and in some cases it also gives some hints on how the user can fix the problem without having to contact the support team. We hope that this feature will save users valuable time.

LW3 Devices

  • [LDC-1086] - The LDC now shows Emulated EDID information in the input properties window of LW3 devices.
  • [LDC-1127] - System log, Factory defaults and Reboot functions have been moved to the Settings/System tab.
  • [LDC-1459] - We are now using tabs instead of buttons wherever possible.
  • [LDC-1474] - We redesigned the IR code screen.
  • [LDC-1476] - We designed a new terminal window for the Infra/IR codes screen.
  • [LDC-1479] - The Settings/Backup screen has been redesigned.
  • [LDC-1484] - Before returning to the Device Discovery window, the LDC now displays a pop-up window informing the user about losing connection to a device.
  • [LDC-1535] - Crosspoint preset names can now be 16 characters long (instead of 8) and the use of dash, underscore, space characters is also allowed.
  • [LDC-1536] - Event Manager now allows dash, underscore and space characters in the names of events.
  • [LDC-1575] - We wrote some hints for the autoselect priorities of LW3 devices (i.e. TPS extenders and the MMX6x2-HT2x0).
  • [LDC-1579] - We wrote some hints for the RS-232 operation modes of LW3 devices (i.e. TPS extenders and the MMX6x2-HT2x0) to help you figure out which setting does what exactly.

Gateway

  • [LDC-1531] - The LDC now remembers the last chosen window size when you run it.
  • [LDC-1564] - The LDC software version is now displayed in the window header.

Device Discovery

  • [LDC-1435] - The EDID Editor is now accessible straight from the Device Discovery window (Tools menu).
  • [LDC-1529] - The Device Discovery window has been completely redesigned. Most notably, Favorite devices and a new Tools button have been added and the different connection interfaces (Ethernet, serial and USB) have been moved to separate tabs.
  • [LDC-1570] - The device discovery window now shows the number of devices that are available over the Ethernet.
  • [LDC-1585] - We implemented a new function in the Device Discovery window: Favorite devices. You can now use the star icon in each line of the device list to add it to your favourites. We hope that this feature will enable quicker connection to the products you control most often.

MMX6x2-HT

  • [LDC-1121] - The maximum length of Device labels has been increased to 39 characters.
  • [LDC-1458] - MMX6x2-HT2x0 output port property windows have been unified into one window.

  • [LDC-1683] - We added an 'Always keep audio alive' checkbox in the video output parameter window of MMX6x2-HT2x0 devices. This function keeps the HDMI and analog audio outputs alive to maintain audio transmission even when video is not available at the output. If no video signal is present, a 480p black screen will automatically be transmitted. Note: when enabled, 'no signal mode' is not available in the test pattern generator.

TPS-TX extenders

  • [LDC-1572] - We added a gap between Video and Audio crosspoints to make it more clear what controls what exactly.

Bug Fixes

  • [LDC-1558] - Fixed a bug that caused the output properties window of the HDMI-3D-OPT-RX150RA to not refresh automatically.
  • [LDC-1668] - Fixed a bug that caused the reported color range not to represent the actual selected color range in case of some MX series input boards (i.e. MX-HDMI-IB).
  • [LDC-1669] - Fixed a bug with the Baudrate settings of MX-FR series fiber optical I/O boards. The I/O boards have a different order for the parameters but the LDC can now handle these I/O board specific parameters.
  • [LDC-1671] - Fixed a bug that caused the Up/Down buttons not to work inside drop-down menus.
  • [LDC-1673] - Changed the naming scheme (uppercase/lowercase, word separation, hypens, colons, etc.) of a lot of things to have a more unified terminology.
  • [LDC-1725] - Fixed a bug in the grid view of MX-HDMI-OPT-OB that made the bottom of the port icon not to be colored light grey when the laser was enabled on that port.
  • [LDC-1726] - Fixed a bug in the MX-TPS card property window that caused the remote device to be still shown as connected even after the link goes to disconnected state.
  • [LDC-1727] - Fixed a bug that made LW2 protocol devices not recognize TPS-TX/RX97 extenders and 25G-TPS boards correctly.
  • [LDC-1732] - Fixed a bug that caused certain changes made on an MX-DVII-HDCP-IB port to be accidentally sent to all other ports.

LW3 Devices

  • [LDC-1047] - The checkbox icon has been redesigned for better visibility.
  • [LDC-1460] - We improved the response time of querying linkable events.
  • [LDC-1495] - Fixed a bug that made some content disappear on control pages when resizing the LDC window.
  • [LDC-1500] - Fixed a bug with displaying 10 or more events when linking conditions in the Event Manager. If too many events were saved and users wanted to link conditions then there was no scrollbar to reach events higher than Event #10.

  • [LDC-1721] - Fixed a bug in the parameter window of the MMX6x2-HT2x0 that made the sliders jump back and forth while the + or - buttons were kept pressed.

Gateway

  • [LDC-1046] - Fixed a bug that caused 'MX-FR33 Ready!' text appear in the Name field of the Device Discovery window.
  • [LDC-1532] - The LDC is now optimized to allow a minimum supported resolution of 1366x768.

MX-FR series (CPU2)

  • [LDC-1561] - Fixed a bug that caused the Audio mode dropdown menu to be empty for the MX-FR series I/O boards with audio breakouts.

MMX6x2-HT

  • [LDC-1100] - The icon of the local RS-232 connection has been changed from a D-SUB9 connector to a 3-pole Phoenix connector for the MMX6x2-HT2x0 to better represent the actual connector type of the device.
  • [LDC-1101] - We changed the icons of the TPS outputs for the MMX6x2-HT2x0 matrices to make them look like they do in real life (an RJ-45 connector with white a frame and TPS label).
  • [LDC-1618] - Fixed an issue with the terminology of the TPS cable diagnostics' window. The unit of the Error rate is not dB, it's only a number. Additionally, the disconnected TPS link state is now better represented by showing 'N/A' instead of '0' values for the error rate and MSE.
  • [LDC-1631] - Fixed a bug with the upper limit of the MMX6x2-HT2x0 audio input gain slider. The protocol allows +21.00 dB. Now the slider can also be set to +21.00 dB instead of only +6.00 dB.
  • [LDC-1660] - Fixed a bug that caused the Backup description not to be saved in the backup file.
  • [LDC-1663] - Fixed a bug that caused the MMX6x2-HT2x0 backup file analyzer not to display the backup description.
